Owner Peter Boden, a native of Switzerland and longtime baker, ran the Swiss Pastry Shop for many years with his wife Sandy much to the delight of locals and visitors.

Peter and Sandy lived above the bakery. For several years, Peter would close the shop and serve as chef for a cruise ship. His return to Langley was always welcomed by those who delighted in his creations.
Due to poor health, Peter closed the bakery for good in 2016.
